China's yuan-denominated loans rose by CNY10.44 trillion (USD1.54 trillion) in the first eight months of this year, according to data from the country’s central bank released yesterday. Outstanding yuan loans rose 4.9% to CNY282.35 trillion (USD42 trillion) at the end of last month from a year earlier.
