Trip.Com logged a net loss of CNY2.4 billion (USD358 million) last quarter, compared with a net income of CNY4.9 billion a year earlier, due to a CNY5.2 billion anti-monopoly penalty from China’s market regulator, according to the Chinese online travel agency's preliminary earnings report. Revenue rose 6% to CNY15.7 billion (USD2.3 billion), driven by resilient tourism demand.
