Yi Huiman, former chairman of the China Securities Regulatory Commission, has been prosecuted on charges of taking bribes, the Supreme People's Procuratorate said today, Xinhua News Agency reported. The indictment said Yi took advantage of his positions at the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China and the CSRC, as well as the convenience of his authority or status, to seek benefits for others and illegally accept money and valuables in especially large amounts.
