(Yicai Global) April 10 -- China's 360 Game and Wargaming, a Cypriot developer that specializes in military video games, have penned a long-term deal under which the pair will bring several war-based shooters to the Chinese mainland.

The two firms are working hard to first release World of Tanks, a military hit released by Wargaming in 2010, in China, the Nicosia-based developer said in a statement yesterday.

Founded in 1998 in Belarus, Wargaming employs more than 4,500 staff and has over 20 offices worldwide. It also boasts over 200 million players on World of Tanks, its naval strategy game World of Warships and the rest of its massively multiplayer online titles.

360 Game is a unit under Qihoo 360 Technology, a company renowned for its online security and other computer software. It is one of China's largest game distributors, offering browser-based, mobile, personal computer and console titles to hundreds of millions of players.
