(Yicai Global) March 6 -- The blockchain portal Huoxing24.com has raised CNY150 million (USD23.6 million) in A-round financing to introduce a new layout on its platform and carry out an integration plan that will also include cooperation with developers and creating a game channel, Tencent's technology news site reported.

The investors in this funding round include IDG Capital, Pan-City Capital, digital currency exchange OKEx and FutureCap. Huoxing24.com supports browsing experience through computers and mobile phones, providing independent and objective 24-hour blockchain technology and industry trend news, and information on digital currency market, new currency dynamics and guide for novices.

Unveiled by Wang Feng, founder of Linekong, interactive entertainment provider, with former co-founder of Economic Weekly as chief editor, Huoxing24.com earlier received a cornerstone investment from BeeChat Fund, a subsidiary of BeeChat, a blockchain communications community.

The portal previously indicated that it will release "Huoxing," a blockchain writer program based on the new incentive mechanism and will work with the CSDN community of developers to establish a technical community group. Its platform will soon open the distribution section for blockchain game to create a game channel on the platform.

Wang also disclosed that he is planning to build a global digital currency encryption fund for blockchain project incubation.
