(Yicai Global) July 2 -- China's mainland stock markets went higher in the morning session after a low opening, led by brokerages, liquor makers, and property developers, leaving tech firms behind.
The Shanghai Composite Index closed 1.16 percent higher at 3,061.10. The Shenzhen Component Index was at 12,217.53, up 0.86 percent. The ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises in Shenzhen, went against the main board by falling 0.03 percent to 2,418.89.
The financial sector rose over 4 percent, while both Zheshang Securities [SHA:601878] and Sinolink Securities [SHA:600109] jumped by the daily limit of 10 percent.
The fields of liquor distillers and real estate both went up nearly 3 percent. But the internet sector slid 0.03 percent.
