The Shanghai Composite Index closed at 2,634.05 points, up 1.23 percent, with a turnover of CNY132.4 billion (USD19.2 billion). The Shenzhen Composite Index rose 1.43 percent to 7,808.04 points with CNY172.5 billion exchanged.
The Growth Enterprise Index closed at 1,348.50 points, up 0.73 percent with CNY51.2 billion exchanged.
