(Yicai Global) Nov. 16 -- Doright’s shares climbed after the Chinese maker of industrial equipment agreed a USD13.6 million deal to supply a Turkish producer of carbon black.

Doright’s stock [SHE: 300950] closed up 8.8 percent at CNY21.56 (USD3.05) today, the highest in a month and a half.

Doright will supply carbon black processing gear to Oyak Sentetik Karbon Ürünleri San ve Tic between next April and September, the Qingdao-based firm said yesterday.

The deal, the first between the two companies, will help improve Doright’s brand awareness and development in the international market, the firm noted, without disclosing any further details on the project and the buyer.

Carbon black is a material composed of fine particles with a high surface-area-to-volume ratio. It is mainly used to strengthen rubber in tires, but can also act as a pigment, ink, paint, and stabilizer.

Doright supplies energy-saving and waste heat recycling equipment, integrating design, research and development, manufacturing and services, according to its website.

The firm provides clean combustion, heat transfer, energy-saving solutions, and customized equipment to global clients in the chemical, energy, metallurgic, and sludge and waste incineration industries.
