(Yicai Global) Feb. 26 -- Danke Apartment has raised USD100 million in round B financing which it will use to expand its business, construct apartments, improve its data system and build its brand and team, online media outlet Lieyunwang.com quoted the internet-based long-term home rental operator as saying today.

China Media Capital and Banyan Capital led the funding, supported by Youjin Capital, Yuanjing Capital, Bertelsmann Asia Investments, and Joy Capital, which also participated in its round A+.

Danke Apartment allows tenants to rent an entire apartment -- usually a one-bedroom -- or just a room in a unit shared with housemates, thus offering different options for housing space and functions.

With government policy support, two to three super unicorns valued at more than USD10 billion and managing over 1 million apartments will emerge in the long-term home-leasing market over the next three years, said Shen Boyang, Danke Apartment executive chairman, adding that his company is poised to be one.

A premium home-rental brand which Ziwutong (Beijing) Asset Management Co. operates, the leasing platform targets white-collar workers. With no physical stores, it is a data-driven accommodation service platform that offers asset management services, quality apartments and other relevant services by adopting an 'internet+real estate+finance' model, public data show.

The startup, which has established presences in the megacities of Beijing, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Tianjin, Wuhan and Nanjing, manages more than 60,000 apartments.
