China's Fixed-Asset Investment in Roads, Waterways, Transport Climbed in Three Quarters(Yicai Global) Oct. 24 -- China's fixed-asset investment in roads, water bodies, and transportation rose in the first three quarters.
The nation's fixed-asset investment in roads and waterways advanced by 3.5 percent to CNY1.67 trillion (USD236.3 billion) during the nine months from a year ago, said Wu Chungeng, spokesperson of the transport ministry. China has now reached nearly 93 percent of its annual target, Wu added.
The tally in transportation investment edged up by 2.2 percent to CNY2.29 trillion.
