China’s Logistics Volume Fell 7.5% in First Quarter, CFLP Says China’s Logistics Volume Fell 7.5% in First Quarter, CFLP Says

(Yicai Global) April 27 -- China’s total social logistics volume tumbled by 7.5 percent to CNY56 trillion (USD7.9 trillion) in the first quarter of this year due to the Covid-19 outbreak, according to a domestic social organization.

The decline in the collective value of all logistics operations narrowed in March as production and employment conditions got back to normal while agricultural and medical supplies deliveries were stable, according to a report released by the China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing today.

China's imported goods logistics volume climbed 5 percent to CNY3.35 trillion in the three months from a year earlier.
