(Yicai Global) Sept. 1 -- China's mainland stock markets opened lower this morning, extending yesterday’s losses.
The Shanghai Composite Index opened 0.17 percent lower at 3,389.74. The Shenzhen Component Index stood at 13,729.39, down 0.21 percent. The ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises listed in Shenzhen, dropped 0.26 percent to 2,721.18.
Shenzhen-based touch screen maker Ofilm Group [SHE:002456] opened 9.99 percent lower to stop trading at CNY17.02 (USD2.48) after a report today by Hong Kong Economic Times that Apple has axed the company as a supplier.
