(Yicai Global) Aug. 6 -- China's mainland stock markets extended their losses after a gloomy opening this morning.
The Shanghai Composite Index closed at 2.43 percent lower to 2,752.89 at the lunch bell. The Shenzhen Component Index stopped at 8,746.68, down 2.65 percent, while the ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises in Shenzhen, slid 2.61 percent to 1,491.44.
