(Yicai Global) June 30 -- The purchasing managers' index for China's manufacturing sector inched up to 50.9 this month from last month’s 50.6, China’s National Bureau of Statistics reported today. April’s figure was 50.8 percent.
A reading above 50 indicates expansion, while one below shows contraction.
The PMI for non-manufacturing sector came in at 54.4 in June, up from 53.6 in May, the bureau added.
