China's Ministry of Commerce Greenlights HNA Purchase of Glencore Oil Logistics Unit(Yicai Global) Oct. 9 -- China's commerce ministry approved Chinese conglomerate HNA Group's proposed purchase of assets owned by Glencore Plc [LON:GLEN] on Aug. 21, the ministry said online.
The two companies reached an agreement in March, with HNA buying a 51-percent stake in Glencore's oil product warehousing and logistics business for USD775 million.
