(Yicai Global) Nov. 9 -- Chinese optical instruments maker Nicrotek can now provide Turkey's Vestel Electronics with raw materials for the latter's TVs and smartphones.

Nicrotek received a confirmation letter from Vestel, which said that it will qualify for research and development, manufacturing, as well as to supply relevant products for the latter, SVG Tech Group, the Chinese firm's parent said in a statement yesterday.

The statement did not specify the products nor gave details about any orders from the Manisa-based firm.

Founded in 2004, Suzhou-based Nicrotek makes screens for ultra-thin tablets, liquid crystal displays, and light guide film technologies.
