(Yicai Global) May 31 -- Shares in Noblelift Intelligent Equipment hit the exchange-imposed daily limit today after the Chinese intelligent logistics equipment maker bagged a CNY229 million (USD36 million) supply contract from the country’s biggest lithium battery maker Contemporary Amperex Technology.
Noblelift’s stock price [SHA:603611] soared 10 percent to close at CNY14.47 (USD2.27).
Unit Wuxi Zhongding Integration Technology will deliver six automated testing logistics systems to Ningde, southeastern Fujian-based CATL between September and November, Noblelift said yesterday.
The order will consolidate the Changxing, southeastern Zhejiang province-based firm’s leading position as an automatic warehouse logistics systems supplier for lithium battery factories, it added.
This is the second such order that Zhongding Integration has penned in the last half a month. On May 18, the Wuxi-based unit signed a CNY279 million (USD44 million) deal with Farasis Energy to supply the Ganzhou, eastern Jiangxi province-based battery manufacturer with ancillary logistics systems.
Noblelift acquired French logistics solutions engineering firm Savoye for CNY419 million (USD66 million) in June 2019.
