(Yicai) June 3 -- China Railway High Speed Electrification Equipment has secured a CNY119 million (USD16 million) supply deal for electrical equipment from a light rail transit project in Mexico.
The management team of the Monterrey LRT project recently contacted China Railway High Speed to inform the company it had been selected to provide power supply and other related equipment for Line 4, Line 5, and Line 6 of the project, the Shaanxi province-based rail electrical equipment maker announced yesterday.
The deal will help China Railway High Speed develop in the global urban rail transportation market and positively impact the company’s operating figures, China Railway High Speed noted, without disclosing any further details.
Shares of China Railway High Speed [SHA: 688285] closed down 1.16 percent at CNY6.79 (94 US cents) in Shanghai today after opened up more than 1.4 percent.
