(Yicai Global) Nov. 5 -- Chinese stocks shed some gains after the main indexes climbed over 3,000, but markets closed higher, nonetheless.
The Shanghai Composite Index finished up 0.54 percent at 2,991.56, while the Shenzhen Component Index rose to 9,938.61 in a 0.71 percent rise. The ChiNext Price Index, which tracks Shenzhen-listed growth enterprises, climbed 0.79 percent to end up at 1,713.29.
