(Yicai Global) Feb. 21 -- China should postpone raising its nationwide emission standards rather than implement the new rules next July, according to an industry alliance.

The China Association of Automobile Manufacturers has submitted its proposal to regulators about the China VI vehicle emission standards, China Securities Journal reported today, citing a CAAM insider.
