(Yicai Global) Feb. 7 -- China's Ministry of Commerce will collect import deposits from Indian companies after initially ruling that they dumped Meta Phenoxy Benzaldehyde at margins between 36 and 57 percent.
The domestic industry has suffered damage as Indian MPB is cheaper than its normal value in the country, the ministry said today. Starting tomorrow, importers will need to pay pledges to the China General Administration of Customs in line with the dumping margins.
MPB is an important intermediate mainly used in the synthesis of pyrethroid drugs and in the production of pyrethroid pesticides.
