(Yicai Global) June 10 -- China's stock market closed higher at noon after opened higher this morning. 

The Shanghai Composite Index closed 0.98 percent higher to 2,855.56 points at the end of the morning session, while the Shenzhen Component Index was up 1.61 percent at 8,723.4. The ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises in Shenzhen, closed 1.44 percent stronger at 1436.4 points.

The Shanghai Composite Index opened 0.18 percent higher this morning, while the Shenzhen Component Index was up 0.43 percent. The ChiNext started the day 0.44 percent stronger.

Environmental stocks led the gains increasing by 2.19 percent while securities was the only sector to fall at 2.03 percent.
