(Yicai Global) July 4 -- China's mainland stock markets opened higher this morning. Shipbuilding shares continued to lead gains by an average 3 percent rise.

The Shanghai Composite Index set out 0.1 percent higher at 3,015.68, while the Shenzhen Component Index was up 0.16 percent at 9,435.04. The ChiNext started the day off 0.27 percent stronger at 1,548.56.
