China's Stock Markets Open Higher, Boosted by Logistics Shares

(Yicai Global) Feb. 17 -- China's mainland stock markets opened up as the warehousing and logistics sector led the gainers with an over 3 percent rise.

The Shanghai Composite Index started at 2,924.99, up 0.27 percent, while the Shenzhen Component Index kicked off 0.54 higher percent at 10,974.93. The ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises in Shenzhen, rose 0.97 percent to 2,089.21.
