(Yicai Global) Oct. 30 -- China's mainland stock markets opened lower this morning while staying on the same track since the gloomy performance of yesterday.

The Shanghai Composite Index started 0.16 percent down at 2,949.46. The Shenzhen Component Index was at 9,707.18, down 0.4 percent. The ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises in Shenzhen, fell 0.12 percent to 1,684.60.
