China's Stock Markets Drop Lower in Morning

(Yicai Global) Jan. 15 -- China's mainland stock markets opened lower this morning while extending their declines that started yesterday.

The Shanghai Composite Index began 0.12 percent down at 3,103.17. The Shenzhen Component Index fell 0.1 percent to 10,978.28. The ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises in Shenzhen, slid 0.1 percent to 1,920.66.
