(Yicai Global) Dec. 24 -- China's mainland stock markets climbed even higher in the morning session after opening up since yesterday's dives. Shenzhen's markets were stronger than that of Shanghai. 

The Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.25 percent to 2,970.19 by lunch. The Shenzhen Component Index was at 10,124.79, up 0.68 percent. The ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises in Shenzhen, edged up 1.06 percent to 1,755.11.
