(Yicai Global) Oct. 11 -- The benchmark indices of China's stock markets opened almost flat in early trading.

The Shanghai Composite Index was edged up 0.04 percent to 3,381.49  points at opening.

The Shenzhen Component Index opened at 11,319.46 points, down slightly 0.09 percent.

The Growth Enterprise Index was up 0.05 percent to 1,918.35 points at the open.

After a rally yesterday, the stocks of the medical device manufacturing sector continued to rise on Wednesday, up 2.80 percent by 10:00 a.m.
