(Yicai Global) Nov. 19 -- China's major mainland stock indexes rallied strongly today to finish up at an intraday high for the second day in a row as investors embraced the central bank's latest market-friendly monetary policy stance.
The Shanghai Composite Index climbed 0.85 percent to 2,939.99 at the close. The Shenzhen Component Index ended up 1.80 percent at 9,889.75. The ChiNext Price Index, which tracks Shenzhen-listed growth stocks, fared the best, winding up 2.77 percent higher at 1,729.08.
