(Yicai  Global) June 4 -- Chinese mainland Stock markets suffered selling  pressure throughout the morning session after a flat start.

The  major indexes all moved closer to their multi-month nadirs during the  session. The Shanghai Composite Index was down 0.84 percent at 2,865.67  at the lunch bell.

The Shenzhen Component Index finished 0.88 percent lower at 8,778.99.

The ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises listed in Shenzhen, closed down 0.49 percent at 1,461.83.
