(Yicai Global) June 28 -- China's mainland stock markets extended losses in morning trade after opening down.

The Shanghai Composite Index closed for lunch 0.88 percent lower at 2,970.42. The Shenzhen Component Index was at 9,157.17, down 0.9 percent, and the ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises in Shenzhen, hit the break 1.38 percent lower at 1,504.26.
