(Yicai Global) July 8 -- China's mainland stock markets opened lower this morning and have extended their losses in the ensuing period.
The Shanghai Composite Index had fallen to 1.76 percent lower to 2,958.21 by 10:06 a.m. The Shenzhen Component Index dipped to 9,288.86, down 1.63 percent, and the ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises in Shenzhen, slipped 1.49 percent to 1,524.61.
