(Yicai Global) Dec. 23 -- China's mainland stock markets moved lower in the morning session after starting the week down. 

The Shanghai Composite Index closed for lunch 0.47 percent lower at 2,990.71, while the Shenzhen Component Index was at 10,177.22, down 0.51 percent. The ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises in Shenzhen, ended 0.56 percent lower at 1,761.82.
