(Yicai Global) Oct. 29 -- China's mainland stock markets opened mixed this morning after yesterday's strong performance, which tech shares led.

The Shanghai Composite Index opened 0.03 of a percent lower at 2,979.04. The Shenzhen Component Index started off at 9,812.48, up 0.1 of a percent and the ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises in Shenzhen, dipped 0.13 of a percent to 1,702.15.
