(Yicai Global) July 15 -- China's surveyed urban unemployment rate was 5.1 percent last month, up from 5 percent in May, according to data published by the National Bureau of Statistics today.

Some 7.37 million new jobs were created in urban areas in first half, the NBS said.

At the end of June, the number of migrant workers totaled 182 million, a 1.3 percent increase on the year.
