(Yicai Global) Jan. 16 -- Ankai Automobile has won a third order for buses in as many years from Saudi Arabia's largest transport firm.

Ankai will start delivering more buses to Hafil Transport through a USD67.4 million sales contract, the Hefei-based firm said in a statement without revealing the number of vehicles or other details.

Ankai sold 600 passenger vehicles to Hafil Transport in 2017 for USD48.4 million and 800 vehicles last year for USD64 million.

There are over 5,000 Ankai vehicles in operation in Saudi Arabia, Zhang Haiyang, the firm's general manager for international business, said last April prior to the delivery of last year's order.

The Jeddah-based firm runs 11,000 passenger buses covering hajj and school services.
