(Yicai Global) Oct. 26 -- Chinese growth stocks beat the two mainland bourses' main benchmarks today while electric vehicle charging pile makers led the group of gainers with a 4 percent increase and securities companies slumped the most.
The Shanghai Composite Index ended the day 0.82 percent weaker at 3,251.12. The Star Market Board 50 Index, finished 1.47 percent higher at 1,356.11.
The Shenzhen Component Index was down 0.48 percent at 13,191.25. The ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises in Shenzhen, rose 0.65 percent to 2,617.74.
