(Yicai Global) Nov. 27 -- Ehang, a Chinese company that makes unmanned aerial taxis and commercial drones, signed a framework agreement yesterday with authorities in Lyon, France to establish its first European research center there.
Ehang will be favorable for job creation in the in south-central French city, said David Kimelfeld, president of the Metropole of Lyon, Chinese state media Xinhua reported. The center will reportedly create 50 jobs over three years.
Guangzhou-based Ehang formed in 2014. Fast Company Magazine rated it one of the world's most innovative companies in 2016, according to the firm's home page.
