(Yicai Global) May 27 -- Contracting and engineering firm China National Complete Plant Import & Export Group has clinched a EUR387 million (USD433.4 million) construction contract for a dry port project in the West African nation of Côte d'Ivoire the company announced yesterday.

The Shanghai-based company will conduct site remediation, construction and equipment procurement of transport platforms and oil depots for the project, which has a construction period of 30 months, the announcement said.

The port site is in Ferkessédougou, a city in the country's north near its border with Burkina Faso and Mali. A dry port is an industrial park built inland, but connected to a seaport, to facilitate local and overseas import and export trades and materials processing.
