(Yicai) Jan. 15 -- Nearly one-fourth of the exhibitors at the Consumer Electronics Show came from China this year.
Some 1,000 Chinese companies attended the CES 2024, which was held in Las Vegas between Jan. 9 and Jan. 12. The event attracted a total of more than 4,000 exhibitors from all over the world.
Chinese firms have strengthened their brands overseas and improved their operation localization level abroad, Chris Pereria, founder and chief executive of US international brand and business consulting group iMpact, told Yicai. Pereria attended the CES four times.
Among Chinese exhibitors at the CES, those drawing the most attention were presenting artificial intelligence and auto intelligentization technologies and robots.
Personal computer giant Lenovo released more than 10 AI-enabled PC products at the CES.
Non-Chinese exhibitors presenting mobile robots are fewer, said Li Quanyin, research and development head of Chinese hotel robot maker Yunji Technology.
Chinese robotics firms presented a wide variety of products. Unitree Robotics brought its first humanoid robot Unitree H1 and robot dog Unitree Go2. Shanghai Kepler Exploration Robot also showcased its first humanoid robot.
EVOLT, the land-air integrated flying car of Xpeng Aeroht, an affiliate company of Chinese new energy vehicle startup Xpeng Motors, made its international debuted at the CES.
Xpeng Aeroht’s modular flying car Land Aircraft Carrier will accept preorders from the fourth quarter of the year, with mass production and deliveries expected to start one year later, Vice President Wang Tan said at the CES.

Hesai Technology, a major Chinese developer of three-dimensional light direction and ranging technologies, released the AT512, its new laser radar product with a measurement range of 400 meters, at the CES.
