(Yicai Global) June 18 -- China's mainland-listed pharmaceutical shares walked back yesterday's gains, dropping more than 3 percent, as investors cashed out during a morning of mixed results.

The Shanghai Composite Index climbed 0.03 percent by the lunch break. Meanwhile, the Shenzhen Component Index rose 0.32 percent. The ChiNext, which tracks growth enterprises listed in Shenzhen, fell 0.41 percent to 2,254.77.
