Chinese Stock Markets Hit the Brakes Since Yesterday's Rally

(Yicai Global) Dec. 4 -- Chinese bourses opened weaker today, paring yesterday's strong gains across the board.


The Shanghai Composite Index had fallen 0.12 percent to 2651.56 points by 9.45 a.m. It also opened 0.12 percent down.


The Shenzhen Component Index almost broke even at 9.45 a.m. to 7,938.05 points. It opened 0.28 percent lower from yesterday.


The ChiNext Price Index, which involves mostly small-cap companies, was 0.14 percent up to 1,374.67 points. It dropped 0.18 percent at the open.
