Chinese Stock Markets Rose Slightly in Morning, GEI Closed To 1900 Points(Yicai Global) Oct. 23 -- China's stock markets closed higher in the morning, with the Growth Enterprise Index(GEI) approached to 1900 point.
The Shanghai Composite Index edged up 0.02 percent to 3,379.44 point at the morning close, with turnover of CNY100.3 billion.
The Shenzhen Component Index rose to 11,259.88 points, up 0.19 percent, turning over CNY128.1 billion.
The Growth Enterprise Index rose 0.67 percent to 1,892.83 point, with CNY38.4 billion exchanged.
