(Yicai Global) April 13 -- Trading was calm on China's mainland stock markets in the afternoon as investors chose to wait for the government to release the country's first-quarter economic data tomorrow to see how big the Covid-19 impact has been.
The Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.49 percent to 2,783.05. The Shenzhen Component Index finished 0.73 percent weaker at 10,223.16. The ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises listed in Shenzhen, fell 1.37 percent to 1,923.08.
