(Yicai Global) Sept. 10 -- China's mainland stock markets gave back some of their earlies gains in the morning, as investors remain cautious despite the strong US and European rebounds that took place overnight.
The Shanghai Composite Index was up 0.29 percent to 3,264.19 by the noon break. The Nasdaq-like Star Market 50 Index, or Star 50, rose 0.45 percent to 1,303.95.
The Shenzhen Component Index started the day at 12,909.16, up 0.37 percent. The ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises listed in Shenzhen, gained 0.24 percent to 2,529.35.
