(Yicai Global) May 31 -- China's mainland stock markets finished the morning session nearly unchanged, following yesterday's declines.

The Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.01 percent to 2,906.01 before lunch. The Shenzhen Component Index climbed 0.1 percent to 8,954.38. The ChiNext Price Index, which tracks growth enterprises in Shenzhen, inched up 0.1 percent to 1,486.2.
