(Yicai Global) Nov. 19 -- China's major mainland stock benchmarks moved higher this morning after a mixed opening as investors found encouragement in the central bank's cut to interest rates in yesterday's open market operations.
The Shanghai Composite Index was up 0.46 percent at 2,922.61 going into lunch, while the Shenzhen Component Index ended up 1.29 percent at 9,840.70. The ChiNext Price Index, which tracks Shenzhen-listed growth stocks, gained 2.21 percent to reach 1,719.60.
