(Yicai Global) July 15 -- China's mainland stock markets opened higher this morning as construction machinery, airport aviation, catering and tourism stocks were the top dogs.
The Shanghai Composite Index climbed 0.22 percent to 3,422.08. The Shenzhen Component Index grew 0.15 percent to 14,017.93, while the ChiNext, which tracks growth enterprises listed in Shenzhen, was up 0.26 percent at 2,866.24.
Education, auto and chemical fiber stocks led the decline.
Haitong Securities warned investors today to pay attention to the destinations of money flows via the mainland's two stock connect schemes with Hong Kong. Overseas investors sold the largest volume of shares ever through this mechanism during a single day yesterday.
