(Yicai Global) July 3 -- A unit of information technology service provider Digital China Holdings, will work with the China National Cancer Center and the UK National Cancer Registration and Analysis Service to jointly develop a tumor big data platform for research, communication, information and training.

The group plans to build a uniform clinical big data platform covering 30 provincial oncology hospitals and 3,000 oncology departments across the country to carry out big data processing, analysis and application research, financial news outlet CN stock reported.

Digital China Health will draw on experience from the UK for data platform construction, data sorting and sharing, and will also share the data with the UK to improve the registration efficiency of NCRAS, reduce labor dependence, and control costs.

The company has been committed to promoting medical and health informationization in China and even the world, Digital China Chairman Guo Wei said. The enterprise provides clinical data for pharmaceutical companies to improve the cure rate for, as well as medical data for insurance institutions to bring down the cost of insurance.

Digital China Health has already cooperated with three Chinese national medical centers, namely, the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences' Cancer Hospital, Peking Union Medical College Hospital and the Children's Hospital of Fudan University and has established extensive cooperation with many medical institutions worldwide in the US and UK.
