(Yicai Global) July 23 -- The value added of China's industrial enterprises above the designated scale -- manufacturing companies with annual revenue of over CNY20 million (USD2.7 million) -- rose 6 percent in the first half, Xin Guobin, vice minister of the country's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, said at a press conference today.

The added value of manufacturing climbed by 6.4 percent per year, he added.
